Our Council is deeply committed to the mission of PTA ensuring EVERY child has a voice. With 40 PTAs and over 9000 members, we do not take this responsibility lightly. That’s why when our advocacy efforts are recognized, it feels especially good.

2022-2023 recognized as: Voice for Every Child Bronze, Leadership Circle Spotlight, Advocacy Champions Spotlight, Making a Difference Spotlight, First Step Spotlight, Good Standing Platinum Spotlight…among other awards/distinctions. Council received the 4 Year Key Award, Outstanding Council: Platinum Award and was among the Outstanding Advocate for Children Councils.

Council received the prestigious 5 Year Key Award, Outstanding Council: Platinum Award and was among the Outstanding Advocate for Children Councils.

2025-2026 recognized as: Bronze Head Start Award, the Silver Shining Star Champion, Platinum Spotlight Good Standing Medalist, and the Council Pipeline Award.  

2026-2027 ONGOING but we've been awarded the Silver Head Start Advocate Award August 2026!
