The Leander Council of PTAs provides leadership, advocacy, communication, and guidance to our 44 local PTAs in Leander ISD. At the Council level, we work closely with District personnel and the Superintendent for communication and direction as it applies to all our students. The PTA, while nonpartisan, is also a politically active lobbying organization, supporting school funding measures as well as legislation to support public schools and the well being of children and their families.
Executive Board - elected each year, and serves for the PTA's fiscal year
Delegate Meetings - attended by a district representative, school principals, PTA presidents and their delegates
Awards and Recognition - council and local PTA award recipients from National and Texas PTA
Council Dues - paid annually by local PTAs
